Aaron Rodgers' farewell tour continued Thursday night as the Pittsburgh Steelers faced the Cleveland Browns in what was scheduled to be his final Thursday night game. However, the outcome was not what Rodgers likely envisioned, as the Browns secured a 27-24 victory over their AFC North rivals, extending their winning streak to three games.

Deshaun Watson played a key role in the Browns' success, throwing for 268 yards and a touchdown. Rodgers, meanwhile, finished with 299 passing yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions, but ultimately fell short of his goal to tie Tom Brady's record of 14 Thursday night wins. The Steelers' struggles on the road against AFC North opponents continued, as they dropped to 0-10 in such games.

The game was marked by a series of back-and-forth possessions, with the Steelers tying the game at 24 in the fourth quarter. However, the Browns responded with a seven-play drive that ultimately led to a 56-yard field goal by Andre Szmyt, giving the Browns a 27-24 lead.

The victory moved the Browns into first place in the AFC North, while the Steelers fell to 2-2 on the season. Rodgers entered Thursday's game with a 13-7 record in Thursday Night games, but dropped to 13-8 with the loss. The Steelers will have extra rest before hosting the Indianapolis Colts on October 11, while the Browns will face the New York Jets in Week 5.

Thursday's game marked the 150th meeting between the two teams, which are separated by only 135 miles.
