Brian Hooker, the husband of missing American woman Lynette Hooker, was spotted going about his daily life in California, despite his wife's disappearance in April. He was seen outside a home in Citrus Heights, a suburb about 15 miles northeast of Sacramento, where he was walking two small dogs.
According to eyewitnesses, Hooker appeared to be enjoying his time in the neighborhood, sifting through trash on the side of the street and picking up items to take with him. He was also seen walking out of a store and enjoying a cup of coffee in his garage, where he was wearing a graphic tee with a logo from the TV show "Stranger Things".
The sighting comes as the U.S. Coast Guard Investigative Service continues to investigate Lynette's disappearance. Hooker was initially detained and questioned by Bahamian authorities in April, but was later released. He has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
Lynette's mother, Darlene Hamlett, has been vocal about her desire for answers in her daughter's disappearance. When asked about Hooker's recent sighting, she simply stated that she wants the truth to be told and justice for her daughter. Hooker's attorney, Matthew Borgula, has not commented on the matter.
The investigation into Lynette's disappearance is ongoing, with the U.S. Coast Guard Investigative Service leading the effort.
