A Minnesota woman's mugshot has gone viral after social media users pointed out her resemblance to Jennifer Lopez.
Cyrena Anne Quast, 35, was arrested on August 30 in Monticello on a charge of theft. According to a criminal complaint, Quast allegedly stole two double packs of power tool batteries valued at around $580 from a store. The incident occurred just days after a similar theft at the same store, with an employee recognizing Quast from a previous visit and alerting police.
Social media users quickly took to platforms to compare Quast's mugshot to that of the famous pop star. Many users commented that the resemblance was striking, with some even suggesting that the two could pass for twins. Others referenced Lopez's 2002 hit "Jenny from the Block," joking that Quast was the "real Jenny from the block."
However, not everyone was convinced of the resemblance. Some social media users pushed back on the idea, with one user stating that Quast looked nothing like Lopez. Despite the varying opinions, Quast's mugshot has become a viral sensation, with many users sharing their thoughts on the supposed likeness.
Quast was booked into the Wright County Jail on a gross misdemeanor theft charge.
